Would you like to meet my dog first?

How do I book a walk?
If you’re new to Beachy Paws pack, you’ll want to start by arranging a free meet and greet via email. For existing members, simply call, text or email us with your request and we’ll get back to you to confirm whether we have a space available for your doggo to play.
Can I book a specific walk time?
Yes of course! If you require certainty around your dog’s walking schedule, upgrading your walk to a priority service will ensure that you receive a walking timeslot that meets your scheduling needs. A surcharge of $10 per walk, per household, will apply. This surcharge does not apply to our package members who are flexible with their walk times, allowing us to schedule their dog to be walked at any point during our regular business hours.
How long will my dog be gone for?
From the time of pick-up to drop-off you can expect your dog to be gone for approximately 1.5 - 2 hours total. This is depending on your preference, your dog's needs and where the adventure takes us!
What time will you take my dog for their walk?
Our typical business hours are 7.30am-4pm, with pickup times varying depending on the seasons, and which group we’ve matched your dog with. If you’d like to request a specific timing window for your walk, please let us know and we will do our best to accomidate.
Are there group or solo walks?
Are walks customised?
Each walk is tailored to your dog's needs. We consider age, energy levels, and preferences.
Do I need to leave my dog outside?
As long we don’t need a key to gain access, you’re all set! Otherwise we may require a copy of any keys or codes necessary for access. We can determine how best to access your dog in our free meet and greet session beforehand.
Do you pick up my dog?
Yes of course! We offer a door-to-door service picking your dog up from your home or office. We then travel to the park or beach in our equipped, air-conditioned vehicles before returning your dog home happy and tired.
Where will you take my dog?
Most of our dog walks take place at local off-leash parks, dog-friendly beaches or bush trails. Some of our favourite dog parks include Curl Curl lagoon, Sirius Cove Reserve in Mosman, Tunks Park in Cammeray and Waverton Park in Waverton! And we are always exploring new and exciting parks for your doggo to have fun and explore.
How many dogs are in each group?
In accordance with local council regulations, our off-leash walking groups are limited to no more than four dogs per dog walker.
Can I see what my dog gets up to on their walks and adventures?
Definitely! We share our adventures daily on social media so make sure to follow us on Instagram or Facebook to see all of our happy faces.
What happens if it's raining?
Most dogs love the rain! So we walk in (almost) all weather conditions and make every effort to ensure your dog comes home as clean and dry as possible. If your dog is wet or dirty, we are more than happy to give them a good rinse with a hose and a towelling-off before dropping them home. In the event of a serious inclement whether event such as hailstorms, heavy rain, or lightning storms, we will cancel walks where there is a genuine safety risk to dogs or our staff members.
What happens if my walk gets cancelled?
Due to unforeseen circumstances such as an emergency or inclement weather, Beachy Paws may have to cancel your walk. We will attempt to notify you of any such changes as soon as possible.
What if I need to cancel a walk?
No worries! Just give us a minimum of 24 hours notice prior to the day of your regular booking to cancel without charge. Any cancellations advised on the same calendar day as the booking will be subject to the full service fee, including both regular and casual bookings.
What happens in the the event of an emergency?
Before we can welcome you to the pack, we require a secondary and emergency contact for those just-in-case moments. Your emergency contacts help ensure that we can always get a hold of someone on your end and keep them fully informed should anything take us by surprise.
Do you walk on Weekends and Public Holidays?
We operate only on weekdays, with the exception of Public Holidays and a few weeks through the festive season. We will always remind you in advance via our socials in whenever we are taking a planned break.
